Tariffs

The hosts will highly appreciate your collaboration in abiding by these rules and regulations, whose aim is to ensure peaceful and safe stay for our Guests :

1. Homestay rooms are rented for homestay days.
2. The tariff is for the room only and is exclusive for accommodation. Meals and other services are available at extra cost.
3. A homestay day starts at 12:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and ends at 11:00 a.m. of the following day. Failure to check out by 11:00 a.m. causes great inconvenience to the other guests who have done room reservation and can result in an additional fee for late check-out. A charge for the extension until 4:00 p.m. amounts to Rs 1500, after 4:00 p.m. charge for an additional homestay day will apply. Please inform us if you wish to retain your room beyond this time. The extension will be done subject to availability of rooms. If the room is available, the normal tariff will be charged. On failure of the guest to vacate the room post check out time, host has the right to remove the guest and belongings from the room. Early check-in is subject to availability. 
4. Present legal regulations require all guests to present their KYC documents for records of host and to be further submitted to government authorities. These are required for all guests in case of group and will be returned post documentation.
5. In case the guest fails to appear in the hotel by 6 p.m. of the accommodation day despite making a reservation, the fee for the room shall be charged by the hotel.
6. The hotel guest cannot hand over a room to third persons, even if the period for which the guest paid has not yet expired.
7. All meals are served in Café Himalayan HotPot. Guests availing whole day meal plans may kindly note that this plan is a discounted rate plan and is offered as a fixed menu with condition that the group avails the plan together and not in random batches. Any additional requests can be taken up at additional cost subject to availability of ingredients. It is prohibited to consume foodstuffs bought from outside the homestay and in the common area. We do not allow guests to enter and use our kitchen.
8. Guests are expected to follow the local laws which prohibit smoking and consumption of alcohol or other drugs in common areas, corridor, staircase, cafe, common zone. Violation is subject to a fine of Rs 500/-.
9. The hosts accept guests traveling with pets. Only one pet is allowed per room for an extra charge of Rs 500/- and the guest bears full responsibility for any damage caused by their pet. Pets must be leashed in common areas. Due to hygienic reasons, pets are not allowed in the hotel restaurant.
10. The lights-out period starts at 11:00 p.m. and ends at 07:00 a.m. of the following day. While we remain flexible to accommodate the guests, the conduct of guests and persons should not disturb the peaceful stay of other guests. The hotel may refuse to render services to a person violating the above rule.
11. When leaving the room, guests are expected to check whether the door is properly locked. Loss of a room key is subject to an extra charge of Rs 250/- for loss. Guests are particularly requested to lock the door of their rooms when going out and please note that there are no electronic safety lockers available. The hosts will not in any way whatsoever be responsible for any loss / or damage to the guest’s belongings.
12. The guests bears financial liability for damaging or destroying the homestay’s equipment and technical devices due to their fault or due to the fault of their visitors.
13.  Room heaters, electric irons and other similar devices which are not a part of the hotel room equipment are not allowed to be used inside the rooms due to the fire safety.
14.  Personal belongings left by guests in the hotel room upon leaving shall be sent to the address indicated by the guest at their own expense. If no instructions are left, belongings will be stored by the reception for 30 days with no responsibility of any damages.
15. Bringing or storing any article of a combustible or hazardous nature and/or prohibited goods and/or goods of objectionable nature is prohibited. Guests are solely liable and responsible to the hosts, other guests, invitees, visitors, agents and staff for all loss financial or otherwise and damage that may be caused by such articles or as a result of the guests’ negligence and non-observance of any / instructions. 
16. Gambling, contraband, prostitution, weapons, explosives, flammable objects, poisons, drugs and pungent food are strictly prohibited on the premises.
17. The guest will be responsible for any loss or damage to the property caused by themselves, their guests, or any person for whom they are responsible for.
18. 17. Guest will conduct in a respectable manner and will not create any nuisance or annoyance. The hosts have the right to ask guest to vacate the room or other areas of the premises forthwith, without prior notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, and the guest shall be bound to vacate when asked to do so. The hosts have the right to remove the luggage and belongings from the room occupied by such guests.
19. Guest are expected to observe and abide all applicable acts and laws and Government rules and regulations in force from time to time.

THE HOSTS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ADD OR AMEND ANY OF THE ABOVE TERMS, CONDITIONS AND RULES.
